Pressurized water delivers the thrust to launch this monster. Simply inflate the rocket and assemble (It's easy.). Then fill the water tank and use the hand pump to create the pressure, and three...blast off.
We happen to love this kind of toy, and it can create a full afternoon's entertainment as kids set it off and chase it.
Of course, there are a couple of things you're going to want to pay attention to. First, the age grading is for 8 and up. That's important because younger kids may have trouble with the pressurizing. Still, it's easy with adult supervision, which is advised when kids under 8 are playing. Letting the littler kids help is important as they feel like they're participating in the fun. Second, make sure you have an open area to play in. The rocket does go pretty straight up, but even alight breeze can change its direction, and when it comes down it can drift. We found an open park or a football field to be ideal. Oh, and if you're standing nearby when you blast off, you're going to get wet, but that's part of the fun as well.
This is a real classic summer toy, and we're happy to see that Banzai has brought it back.
