What It Is
Kiiroitori is one of the characters that is part of the Rilakkuma Japanese sensation that's slowly making its way to America. In the story, Rilakkuma is a soft toy bear who mysteriously appears at Japanese worker Kaoru's apartment one day and decides to take up residence there. Kiiroitori, which means yellow bird in Japanese, is Kaoru's pet bird who likes to clean and is often cleaning up Rilakkuma's mess. The Kiiroitori stuffed animal is 15 inches long and made of super-soft velvet-like plush. It comes with a small board book that introduces Kiiroitori and the other characters, and includes phrases and sentences in both English and Japanese.
