Man of Steel Quick Shots

Top Special Needs – Academic Toys

No matter if you have a typically developing child or one with different delays or exceptional needs, all children have the instinct to want to learn. The toys listed below are great ones that my family still uses today. In my autistic son's therapy, we often use matching games. We use it in speech therapy to have him learn sounds, letters, colors and matching. In his behavior therapy. we use it to learn turn-taking, completing a task and sitting to pay attention. There are many great academic toys listed in the other categories as well.
