What It Is
Caillou Who? What? is a basic memory game with a twist. Instead of looking for two identical cards, the match is between an object and a picture that includes the object. The game, for two or more players, comes with 48 playing cards and rules in both English and French. A souvenir mini-poster is also included.
To play, lay the playing cards face-down on the table in two groups with the red cards on the left and the blue cards on the right. Players take turns flipping over a red card and then a blue card to try and complete the series. For example, if a player flips over a bowl of food and then the card with Gilbert the cat and the bowl of food, the player has completed the series. That player keeps the two cards and continues to play for as long as he or she matches red and blue cards.
If the red and blue cards do not match, the player turns both cards over and it's the next player's turn. The player with the most matches wins the game.
Why It’s Fun
This game will definitely appeal to fans of the Caillou TV series. Because it's not a basic match-a-picture memory game, it demands a little more thinking and reflection. This association game will help develop children's memory skills and sense of observation.
