What It Is
Kids can play out the Dinoco World Stunt Show Championships with the Cars Stunt Racers Dinoco Stunt Show Set. This playset has four action-packed areas in which kids can rev their 1:55-scale Cars Stunt Racers vehicles. Race on two wheels, climb the inclined walls, or launch the vehicles up the steep track into the winner's circle. To start, attach the crank-up launcher to any of the three tracks. Load a Stunt Racers vehicle, making sure the back of the vehicle is flush with the launcher. Wind the crank handle to rev up the vehicle. Then push the button. The sidetracks send the vehicle in the performance area on two wheels. A third track sends the car up the incline to jump into the winner's circle. Kids can also rev the car forward two to five times and then place the car on its nose or tail to watch it spin.
The Cars Stunt Racers Dinoco Stunt Show Stunt Set comes with a Dinoco Lightning McQueen Stunt Racers vehicle. Additional Cars Stunt Racers vehicles are sold separately.
Why It’s Fun
Kids will like the action and excitement of racing and performing stunts with the Cars Stunt Racers Dinoco Stunt Show Stunt Set. It may take some experimentation to figure out how long to rev up the car for the best stunt performance. For example, the Stunt Racers vehicle is not going to land on the winner's circle every time you launch it. But watching it do a stunt jump no matter where it lands is also fun.
Who It’s For
The Dinoco Stunt Show Stunt Set is for Cars fans ages 4 and up.
What To Be Aware Of
Assembly is required. It took us 10 minutes to assemble, and the instructions were easy to follow. It is helpful to apply the sticker labels to the pieces before assembly.
To make the Stunt Racers vehicle do the nose or tail spins, the instructions say to rev the car forward two to five times. Really make sure you are pushing the car forward a good distance instead of quick, short revs. That will give the car better balance and speed to do longer nose or tail spins.
Our Special Needs contributor Emily Vanek shares her thoughts on how this product might be a good choice for a Special Needs child.
This toy is great for kids who love wheels that spin and need to work on turn taking or cause and effect. Kids can rev the car to see how long it will drive or in which manner. Take turns using the track to teach patience, but the best part of this toy is that it’s fun for all kids, typical and special needs. A great way to incorporate social interactions between kids.
