What It Is
Transformers Bot Shots are miniature vehicles that transform instantly into their robot alter egos on impact. Kids can battle Optimus Prime and Megatron Bot Shots with the Transformers Bot Shots Dragon Track Battle Game. Spin the Dragon Pit arena and use the launchers to send the Bot Shots racing along the dragon track and crashing into each other in the arena. To win, time your shot so that your Bot Shots is the only one to make it to the center of the Dragon Pit or try to knock your opponent off the track. When the Bot Shots vehicles collide with each other or land on the table, they will pop back into robot mode.
Kids can also use the Basic Bot Shots Battle Game to determine who is the winner. There is a rotating piece in each Bot Shots' chest that has three sides depicting three different powers: sword, blaster, and fist. Select the power you want for your Bot Shot, then fold the robot into vehicle mode. Crash your Bot Shot into an opponent's Bot Shot to make each pop back into robot mode. The one with the most powerful symbol showing wins. Blaster beats fist, fist beats sword, and sword beats blaster. Of course, kids can make up their own rules, or just have a blast crashing the cars, which, of course, is classic and endlessly amusing vehicle play.
Why It’s Fun
The Transformers Bot Shots are built for bashing and smashing, and the Transformers Bot Shots Dragon Track Battle Game provides lots of fast-paced bashing/crashing action. It's easy to launch the Bot Shots, although you do need to hit the launcher with a good amount of force to really send the Bot Shots racing. The Basic Bot Shots Battle Game that kids can also play is sort of like Rock, Paper, Scissors, so it's familiar and easy to play.
Who It’s For
The Transformers Bot Shots Dragon Track Battle Game is for ages 5 and up. This is for kids who like the active, crashing play of the vehicles and will be engaged by repeated, imaginative confrontations between the two characters.
What To Be Aware Of
Additional Transformers Bot Shots are sold separately.
As with many toys of this type, the tricks don't work every time, and the fun is in trying to figure out how to compete most effectively and hit the tricks.
