What It Is
With Crayola Marker Airbrush, kids can create spray art on paper, fabrics, and windows using Crayola's broadline markers. Select a marker and press it firmly into the airbrush holder. Unlock the airbrush machine's handle and pump it up and down about 15 times. You will feel the air pressure build in the machine. Then, lock the handle back in, press down on the sprayer's trigger, and start spraying.
The kit includes an airbrush sprayer, eight washable markers, four bright fabric markers, 20 sheets of paper, and four stencil sheets.
Why It’s Fun
Airbrushing is a fairly sophisticated way to paint. Crayola has come with a savvy solution for younger kids by creating a mechanism to transform their markers into spray brushes. Kids can use the fabric markers to spray designs on T-shirts and jeans that they can wear for back to school. Or kids can even use window markers, which are sold separately, to spray paint stencils on their bedroom windows or show off their school spirit by spray painting their car windows (with mom's and dad's permission, of course).
Who It’s For
Crayola Marker Airbrush is for ages 6 and up.
What To Be Aware Of
Make sure the marker is firmly locked into the sprayer or else it will not work.
This is a messy activity. Make sure that any surfaces you don't want to get sprayed around the work area are covered.
It can be used with any Crayola Classic Washable Broadline Markers, Washable Pip Squeaks Broadline Markers, or Window Markers.
Follow all directions about which markers to use.
