What It Is
With the Poppin' Play Piano, preschoolers press piano keys to explore numbers, colors, and more. Whenever kids press keys, colorful balls pop up in clear tubes. There are four play and learning modes. In Number Mode, when kids press a key, the piano will sing the number on each key in a different pitch. In Color Mode, children play the piano to hear the color names of each key sung in a different pitch. In Free Play Mode, kids press a key to select an instrument sound, then play all the keys to hear that sound. (To change the sound, slide the mode switch back and forth.) In Song Mode, pressing a key will begin a song that kids can play along with.
Why It’s Fun
The Poppin' Play Piano has chunky keys that are easy for small hands to play. Preschoolers will like the surprise of the colored balls popping up each time a key is played as well as hearing the different phrases, songs, and sounds.
Who It’s For
The Poppin' Play Piano is for ages 12–36 months.
What To Be Aware Of
Three AA batteries are included, but these are for in-store try-me purposes. LeapFrog recommends you replace them before you play for best results.
The Poppin' Play Piano will automatically turn off after a period of inactivity. Wake it up again by switching the off-low-high volume selector or by pressing a key.
