What It Is
Crayola's My First Crayola line is designed to give toddlers art tools and supplies designed to be easy to use at different stages of physical and cognitive development. With the Washable Bath Crayons & Canvas set, kids can get creative in the bathtub. Wet the double-sided canvas, and it will easily adhere to the tub or shower wall. Kids can use the animal-shaped bath crayons (red duck and blue hippo) to color, draw, and doodle. The rounded crayon holders help children with what Crayola calls Stage 1: Palm Grip. The holder fits right in a child's palm, and when a child's fingers fold over the crayon in a grip, he or she can color, scribble, and create works of art. When art time and bath time is over, the canvas wipes clean for the next bath. The Washable Bath Crayons & Canvas set comes with a dual-sided bath canvas, two bath crayons in holders, and two refill bath crayons that can be inserted into the holders when the original crayons wear down.
Why It’s Fun
The animal-shaped crayon holders do more than just look cute. Their chunky design allows toddlers who don't have the fine motor skills necessary to hold a regular crayon to color and draw successfully and without getting frustrated. As kids get a little older, they'll want to graduate to more traditional crayons because they'll have developed the motor skills, and the hand grip, they need for drawing and writing as big kids. However, the My First Crayola Washable Bath Crayons & Canvas is an easy and rewarding way to get budding artists started, as well as bring some fun to bathtime, especially for fussy bathers.
Who It’s For
