What It Is
Road Blox is a collection of buildable, mix and match vehicles with real rolling wheels. The Series 1 package includes three construction vehicles (bulldozer, cement mixer, and dump truck) along with building blocks that have construction-themed graphics on them, such as a traffic cone. The Series 2 package includes three emergency vehicles (police car, fire truck, and ambulance) along with building blocks with themed graphics on them, such as a fire hydrant. Kids can take the vehicles apart and mix and match the front and back of each vehicle. For instance, kids can take apart the ambulance and police car and make a car with a police car front and an ambulance back. All the chunky pieces easily come apart and snap together. Kids can use the building blocks separately or use them to build upon the lid of each Road Blox package. Series 1 and 2 are sold separately.
Why It’s Fun
Road Blox is all about customization and imagination. Preschoolers will enjoy the silliness behind mixing and matching the different vehicles. This is a cute way to engage kids in creative, open-ended play. And building the vehicles and playing with the blocks is also a great way to reinforce fine motor skills.
