What It Is
The Lucky Ladybug Flyer is part of Manhattan Toy's Parents magazine line of toys. It is a new and easier take on a kite for young kids. There are two ways to play with the Lucky Ladybug Flyer. You can connect the included hook and stick onto the flyer, then hold the stick above your head and spin the flyer in a circular motion. You can also remove the hook and stick and throw the flyer like a paper airplane. Grasp the center frame with your thumb and forefinger. Lift your arm and pull your wrist back slightly to prepare for flight. Release and throw the flyer forward.
Why It’s Fun
This is a cute activity toy that will get kids outside and moving around. Kids can throw it or spin it, or they can play with the Lucky Ladybug Flyer however they want.
Who It’s For
The Lucky Ladybug Flyer is for ages 3 and up.
This is clearly for younger kids who may not have the ability, skill or patience to learn to fly a traditional kite but who would like to simulate that type of play.
What To Be Aware Of
Smaller hands might have difficulty throwing the Lucky Ladybug Flyer because the center frame isn't very thick. There's not a lot to hold onto.
