What It Is
Mini Mouth is a fast-paced word race game designed to help kids build vocabulary and improve spelling. The object is to win the most letter tiles by making words that use all the visible letters in each round. To play, spread all the letter tiles face-down in the center of the playing area and mix them up. The first player draws two to five letter tiles from the letter pile and flips them over for all players to see. All players then race to call out a word that includes all of the letters shown. Words may use more letters than only those that are flipped. For example, if the first player draws and flips over a P, B, L, and A, another player could call out "placebo" because it uses all four letters on the tiles.
The first player to call out a word wins the round. That player collects the tiles and puts them to the side in his or her own score pile. Then the next player draws tiles and flips them over to begin the next round. Play continues until there are no more letter tiles in the letter pile. The player with the most letter tiles at the end of the game wins. Mini Mouth comes with 26 letter tiles (A to Z) and a storage bag. It is for two or more players.

What To Be Aware Of
Some of the letter tiles, such as J, Q, X, and Z, are marked with an asterisk. If more than one of these tiles is flipped, players must use at least one of the asterisk letters in the word, but they do not have to use all of them. The first player to call out a valid word collects only the letters that were used. Any unused asterisk letters are returned to the letter pile.
