What It Is
The Play-Doh Swirling Shake Shoppe playset is part of the Play-Doh Sweets Café line of playsets that let kids create Play-Doh versions of desserts and sweet treats. With the Swirling Shake Shoppe, kids can mold their favorite fruits out of Play-Doh, then swirl them together in the transparent color mixing blender. Once mixed, turn the crank to pour the "shake" into the cup. The playset includes four three-ounce cans of Play-Doh, a whipped cream extruder, a stamper, a lid with crank, two cups, two spoons, a plastic knife, and multiple fruit molds. Kids can also make ice cream sundaes out of the Play-Doh by following the directions on the included instruction sheet or milkshakes by following the directions on the bottom of the box.
Why It’s Fun
Preschoolers love food play and they love Play-Doh. The two come together in this creative activity set. The finished product, complete with Play-Doh "whipped cream" on top, looks like the real thing, except non-edible. The Swirling Shake Shoppe playset is easy to use and engages kids in creativity, roleplay, and lots of fun food play.

What To Be Aware Of
Adult assembly is required.
To release the stamper, push down on one side and it snaps off. Adults may need to help younger kids with operating the stamper.
The instructions are not as clear as they might be. Give yourself time, and an adult may want to be nearby as a child plays with this for the first time.
Play-Doh contains wheat.
