What It Is
Red's Water Rescue is a new LEGO building set for Cars fans that features characters Acer and Red. The story behind this building set is that Acer is setting fire to everything and it's up to Red to use his water gun to put out the flames. With this 199-piece set, kids build both Acer and Red. Acer comes with welding equipment accessories and protective glasses, as well as a "fire" flick missile. Red has a ladder that moves up and down and two "water" flick missiles.
Why It’s Fun
The Red's Water Rescue building set brings to life the fun and action from Cars 2. Fans will enjoy being able to build favorite characters with great detail and moving pieces. This set makes a great addition to any LEGO Cars collection and will engage kids in Cars-based imaginative play.
Who It’s For
Red's Water Rescue is for Cars fans ages 5–12. However, Cars products mostly appeal to younger kids, so we think that this will appeal most to the younger age range that LEGO recommends.
What To Be Aware Of
The included assembly booklet features very detailed instructions to guide young builders through the building process. The pieces are separated into two bags. First you build with bag number one and then you build with bag number two. Don't mix the pieces from the two bags together or building will be very confusing.
Red measures about five inches long and Acer is about three inches long.
