- Repeat Play — Will kids come back to it over time? Does the toy allow diverse imaginative play experiences? Does it provide longer-term play value?
- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

What It Is
The Karito Kids Play a Role Collection features soft mini dolls and foldout playsets in two styles: Ballerina and Fashionista. Open the box, and it instantly turns into a playset with pop-out 3-D furniture and room décor. Each nine-inch Play a Role Collection doll comes with a four-inch soft pet dog and a hairbrush. When playtime is done, everything fits back inside the box for easy clean-up and storage.
As with all Karito Kids products, a portion of the proceeds from each Play a Role Collection purchase goes toward Plan USA's Because I am a Girl education fund, which identifies the education, support, and nurturing of girls as key to ending the cycle of poverty.
Why It’s Fun
Ever since Karito Kids were introduced in 2007, the doll line has promoted charity and global awareness among girls through play. The new Karito Kids Play a Role Collection is designed to show girls in the U.S. and Canada how they can "play a role" and make a difference in the lives of real girls in the developing world.
First and foremost, girls will like playing with these dolls and playsets. The foldout playsets offer inspiration for creative play with the dolls. The charitable component will resonate more with older girls who can visit the Karito Kids website (www.karitokids.com) to learn more about the Karito Kids characters through games and activities and Plan USA.

What to Be Aware of
The doll and pet are attached to the cardboard playset. Be careful removing the doll and pet so that you don't accidentally damage the playset.
