You child will love the pop-up action once they press a button on this toy. The Sesame Street characters will sing their famous songs as well. Buttons, cranks and dials help with cause and effect and fine motor skills. Once thought of as a toy for babies, it can actually help kids with special needs well past age five. Younger kids will enjoy the colors, characters and actions while older children will love its predictability. This is quite calming to a child who is opposed to change or surprises such as those kids on the autism spectrum. Simple in concept, yet big on developmental skills.
