What It Is
What It Is
Head Shotz is a line of customizable, transformable R/C battle ball toys that are designed to compete in head-to-head combat. Players add battle arms on their Head Shotz to protect the battle targets. Using infrared remote controls, kids open their Head Shotz vehicle and control it with high-speed spins and forward and backward motion. Every time a Head Shotz loses a battle arm, it shuts down for a second, giving the opponent time to take another shot. If all the arms are knocked off, it's game over.
The toy line consists of three warrior groups: Elementals, warriors from the core of the Earth; Mechanoids, robotic warriors; and Creepies, mutant insectoids. The line also includes Fusion characters—hybrids with combined powers from two of the warrior groups—that are sold in a twin-pack. The Twin Battle Pack includes two of the Fusion Head Shotz: Wrecker Bot and Mantisector. The set comes with 12 battle arms, four battle targets, and 16 arrow stickers.
Why It’s Fun
Head Shotz are a great addition to the R/C category, and fans of R/C will enjoy collecting the different characters and battling them. Kids will like being able to customize each Head Shotz with interchangeable battle arms and creating a variety of stunts for the Head Shotz to perform in battle.
Who It’s For
The recommended age for Head Shotz toys is 5 and up. But there is a learning curve with these toys, and we think slightly older kids will be better able to control the Head Shotz. Younger kids may need some adult help—and a bit of patience to get the most out of the toy.
