Richard Scarry's Busytown Busy, Busy Airport Game brings the world of Richard Scarry to life. Assemble the game right in the box, setting up the cards and play pieces and the airport tower, and place the destination cards around the room you're playing in. The goal is to get all the characters from the Busytown airport to their vacation destinations—such as the beach, mountains, and city—and collect souvenirs. On your turn, drop the dice through the control tower, and you'll have your choice of one of two actions—either loading passengers into your plane or flying off to a destination. If you choose to fly your passengers to a destination, you drop them off and pick up souvenir cards. The game ends when all the passengers have reached their vacation spots, and the pilot who has collected the most souvenirs is the winner. The game comes with four airplanes, a dice tower, 16 passenger tiles, 16 souvenir cards, four destination mats, two dice, and game rules. It is for two to four players. All the pieces store inside the box for easy clean-up when play is done.
This is a great way for kids to interact with the beloved Richard Scarry characters. The colorful artwork is wonderfully done, and we like that this game gets kids up and moving as they "fly" their passengers to the different destination cards. This is a terrific classic game that will fit in any kids' collection.
Richard Scarry's Busytown Busy, Busy Airport Game is for ages 3 and up.
Parents will need to help get the game set up.
