- Repeat Play OR Collectibility — Some toys are played with, some are collected. If we feel a toy is better suited for collectibility, we’ll rank it based on Collectibility instead of Repeat Play.
- Repeat Play — Will kids come back to it over time? Does the toy allow diverse imaginative play experiences? Does it provide longer-term play value?
- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

What It Is
The Trash Pack is a new line of soft, miniature collectible figures called Trashies. Each character is named after something gross you might find in the garbage, such as Smelly Sock and Putrid Pizza. There are more than 100 different characters to collect with different levels of scarcity. Each Trashies figure comes in its own garbage can. Trashies are sold in packs of five and 12 with some blind-packaged figures, meaning kids won't know what character they got until they open it up. Trashies are also sold in two packs, and there are also special sets, such as the Collector's Trash Can and the Collector's Carrying Case, which each come with two exclusive Trashies.
Why It’s Fun
Few things are as reliably hilarious to kids as things that are disgusting, and The Trash Pack definitely fits into the "gross but funny" category. The different levels of scarcity will inspire collecting and trading of the Trashies. In addition to the gross-out factor, there's collecting, categorizing, and social interaction with these colorful characters that, for all the trash talk, still manage to be cute and friendly.

The Trashies two-packs retail for about $2.99. The five-packs and 12-packs retail for $6.99 and $12.99, respectively. The Collector's Trash Can retails for $19.99, and the Collector's Carrying Case retails for $14.99.
