- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

What It Is
The Cranky and Flynn Save the Day playset is part of Fisher-Price's Thomas & Friends TrackMaster collection. This playset features a remote-control Cranky the crane and a motorized Flynn the fire engine, as seen in the DVD movie Day of the Diesels. In the movie, Cranky delivers Flynn to the island of Sodor. Kids can reenact the scene with the two-foot tall talking Cranky. Use the remote control to rotate Cranky 360 degrees for loading and unloading, all while hearing phrases and sound effects from Cranky. When a "fire" breaks out at the hay bales near the tracks, kids help Cranky deliver Flynn in the special "launching" crate. When the crate touches down on the track, Flynn launches out of the crate and moves around the track. This set connects to other TrackMaster sets. It comes with a cargo car, cargo, a loading platform, a complete loop of track, and hay bales with flip-up "flames."
Why It’s Fun
This new playset helps bring to life the fun and action from Day of the Diesels. Kids will like being able to control Cranky and "magically" launching Flynn from his crate so he can put out the fire. Cranky and Flynn Save the Day lets kids be a part of this new Thomas & Friends story.

What to Be Aware of
You'll need to turn Flynn on before loading the engine into the "launching" crate, otherwise Flynn won't move out of the crate when it touches down on the track.
Cranky and Flynn Save the Day requires five AA batteries and three AAA batteries, which are not included.
