What It Is
What It Is
You're probably familiar with Scrabble, and perhaps you also know of the card game Scrabble Slam. Well now the Scrabble Slam card game has an electronic Turbo Slam unit that serves as a base for the cards and adds music, sound effects, and other cool features. The object of Scrabble Turbo Slam is to get rid of all your cards, and you do that by playing letter cards on top of a four-letter word. To get started, use the letter cards to make a four-letter word, such as GAME, and this is what everyone will play onto. Press the Slam button to start the game, and then quickly place down letter cards to make new words. When the turbo sound goes off, be the first to press the Slam button. If you are, you get an action card, which could mean you take cards from other players, give cards to other players, or discard some of your cards. If you are the first player to get rid of all your cards, press the victory button. There are two other buttons—pause, if you need to pause the game, and the music button, which lets you turn the music on or off. Even if the music is off, you'll still hear any sounds that are needed for gameplay. The Turbo Slam button features built-in storage for the cards. The game comes with 55 letter cards, 12 action cards, and rules. It is for two to four players.
