- Repeat Play — Will kids come back to it over time? Does the toy allow diverse imaginative play experiences? Does it provide longer-term play value?
- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

What It Is
If you don't already know, Squinkies are tiny, soft and squishy characters that come in a surprise toy bubble, sort of like the capsule vending machines you see in grocery stores. These toys have been very popular since they were first introduced last year. Now there are new Squinkies featuring favorite characters. Kids can collect Disney Princess Squinkies, which include Ariel, Snow White, Belle, or Cinderella. There are also Hello Kitty Squinkies and four series of Barbie Squinkies to collect. Each of the packs comes with 12 Squinkies and is sold separately. Also available are themed playsets, such as the Barbie Dream House Dispenser. The playsets are sold separately.

These squishy characters are so cute and tiny that kids just love collecting them. The new character-driven Squinkies will really appeal to fans of Hello Kitty, Barbie, and the Disney Princesses. It's fun to see these favorite characters in a very miniature size.

These new Squinkies are mainly geared toward girls ages 4 and up.
What to Be Aware of
Squinkies are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. Because of their size, they are not for children under 3. Make sure to keep Squinkies out of reach of younger siblings.
