What It Is
Last year ToyTeck introduced Teacup Piggies, a line of cute and interactive miniature toy pigs that love to play and be at home in teacups. Inspired by the trend of having real miniature pigs as pets, the line continues to expand this year with new pigs, play patterns, and playsets, including the Ice Rink Champions Playset. This comes with Crystal the pig and a pretend ice rink. When you turn the dial, music plays and Crystal slides across the "ice". Kids can even make Crystal spin. Press the button to make fake snow rise and fall in the background of the ice rink. Crystal is interactive, so when you touch her nose or back, she makes pig noises and says different phrases. Crystal also responds to sound. Accessories include a pair of regular shoes for Crystal (Her ice skates are removable.), a bench, a lamppost, and a championship cup and gold medal.
Why It’s Fun
Girls will really like the interactive play with Crystal, as well as being able to make Crystal "skate". The accessories help to give this playset a real outdoor ice rink feel. The Ice Rink Champions Playset offers great creative play for girls.

What to Be Aware of
The music is very loud, and there is no volume control or on/off switch. For quiet play, you'll have to remove the batteries. If playing with the music on, make sure your child doesn't have her ear right up to the toy.
Crystal comes with two AA batteries and the ice rink comes with three AA batteries. These are for in-store demo purposes, and ToyTeck recommends replacing the batteries before you play for best results.
