- Repeat Play — Will kids come back to it over time? Does the toy allow diverse imaginative play experiences? Does it provide longer-term play value?
- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

What It Is
Torx is a new line of action games geared toward boys from Wild Planet. Each Torx game is designed to focus on aim, energy, strategy, and skill. One of the first games in this line is Smash Stix. Each stick has foam bumpers at each end and a center target. Keep both hands on the stick, and try to hit your opponent's target while protecting your own. The electronic score keeper announces each tag with a crashing sound effect and declares the end of a round after one player is hit 10 times.
Why It’s Fun
This is a great toy for getting kids active, strengthening hand-eye coordination, and having fun. Kids will enjoy expressing their natural competitiveness while engaging in head-to-head jousting battles.
Who It’s For
The Torx Smash Stix are for ages 8 and up. While the Torx line is geared toward boys, we think boys and girls—and even adults—will enjoy playing with the Smash Stix.
What to Be Aware of
Smash Stix require four AAA batteries, which are not included.
Kids might want to play rough with the Smash Stix, so make sure you set some ground rules, such as don't hit each other in the face.
