- Repeat Play OR Collectibility — Some toys are played with, some are collected. If we feel a toy is better suited for collectibility, we’ll rank it based on Collectibility instead of Repeat Play.
- Repeat Play — Will kids come back to it over time? Does the toy allow diverse imaginative play experiences? Does it provide longer-term play value?
- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

What It Is
The Soarin' Sea Plane is made from "sprigwood", which is reclaimed sawdust mixed with recycled plastic to create a hard material similar to plastic. The plane comes with a pilot figure and a pelican that can ride on the plane's wings.
Why It’s Fun
The Soarin' Sea Plane's chunky design makes it appealing to preschoolers and easy for them to use. It is completely kid-powered—kids use their hands to make the plane fly and their imaginations to create a sea plane adventure.

The Soarin' Sea Plane is for ages 3 and up.
What to Be Aware of
While its name might have "sea" in it, it doesn't float in water. But it's not really designed to be a water toy. Sprig Toys' motto is "Go play outside!", and the Soarin' Sea Plane is a great toy for getting kids running around and engaging in open-ended play both inside and outside.
