What It Is
The 2-in-1 Ballgown Surprise dolls let girls recreate the moments when the Disney Princess characters become princesses. Each doll starts out in a gorgeous, sparkly princess dress that can be transformed to reveal a surprise second fashion. Tiana's blue dress becomes her signature green dress by undoing the Velcro closures, folding down the dress, turning it around, and redoing the Velcro closures in the back. Other Ballgown Surprise dolls include Cinderella, Belle, and Ariel.
Why It’s Fun
Girls love the fashion play of dolls, so they'll like that Ballgown Surprise Tiana comes with two different dresses and that it's easy to transition between the dresses. This is a great way for girls to engage in princess play and open-ended, creative play.
We've seen transforming fashions in dolls before, but this is one of the best we've seen yet. The change is easy for small fingers to do, and the transformation creates a totally new look.
