- Repeat Play OR Collectibility — Some toys are played with, some are collected. If we feel a toy is better suited for collectibility, we’ll rank it based on Collectibility instead of Repeat Play.
- Repeat Play — Will kids come back to it over time? Does the toy allow diverse imaginative play experiences? Does it provide longer-term play value?
- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

What It Is
The I Am T-Pain Mic gives kids' voices the T-Pain Effect. It's like singing in a real recording studio. The microphone, which comes in three styles, includes three exclusive beats provided by Nappy Boy Productions' Young Fyre. Kids choose one of the three beats to sing to and then choose one of six different beat effects, including the T-Pain Effect, which makes their voice sound like T-Pain. (If you don't know, T-Pain is an American hip-hop and R&B singer, songwriter, and producer. He transformed his R&B sound to create what is now known as the T-Pain Effect.) Kids can also record and playback their songs. The microphone is MP3-compatible so kids can also sing along to favorite songs. Software is included (for Mac and PC) so that kids can download and share the music they've created.
Why It’s Fun
You don't have to be a T-Pain fan to enjoy this microphone. If your child likes music, performing, or karaoke, this is a fun microphone for them. The T-Pain Effect is a popular sound right now in music, and kids will like making their own songs using this unique effect.
