What It Is
The card game Crazy Apes includes elements of popular card games Crazy 8s, Hearts, and UNO. The object of the game is to get rid of all your cards. Each player gets seven cards. The rest of the cards are placed face down in a community pile. Turn over the top card and lay it down facing up next to the community pile. This is the discard pile on which each player must play a card on his or her turn. The card you play must have at least one feature that matches the top card on the discard pile. For example, you can play a 3 on a 3 or diamonds on diamonds. If you can't play a card, you must take one from the community pile. There are several trick cards within the deck that change the gameplay, such as an Ace reversing the playing order or an 8 card causing the next player to miss a turn. Crazy Apes is for two to four players. It comes with 54 cards.
