- Repeat Play — Will kids come back to it over time? Does the toy allow diverse imaginative play experiences? Does it provide longer-term play value?
- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

What It Is
The MEGA Bloks Dinosaur Train Characters building sets are based on the Dinosaur Train show. Each set comes with five pieces, including a train ticket, which, as any fan knows, is an essential part of the TV show. The train tickets feature fun facts about dinosaurs. The other pieces include a buildable passenger car, a scenery block, and a bobblehead character figure—either Buddy or Shiny. These character sets are compatible with other MEGA Bloks Dinosaur Train building sets.
Why It’s Fun
Kids will love playing out the action they see on the TV show with these building sets. The genius of the show is that it combines dinosaurs and trains (favorite kid play patterns) with learning, at the same time engaging curiosity and teaching some real science. There's not much to build, which keeps these sets simple and easy for young children.
