Our editorial team has more than 100 years combined experience working in the toy industry. Our rating system ranks toys on 4 key criteria:
- Fun — Does it engage the child? Does it inspire imaginative play? Does it contribute to creative expression? Is it entertaining?
- Repeat Play OR Collectibility — Some toys are played with, some are collected. If we feel a toy is better suited for collectibility, we’ll rank it based on Collectibility instead of Repeat Play.
- Repeat Play — Will kids come back to it over time? Does the toy allow diverse imaginative play experiences? Does it provide longer-term play value?
- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

What It Is
The classic Doodle Bear is back. Kids can draw, write, and stamp on Doodle Bear; then wash the bear clean to doodle all over again. Doodle Bear comes with two double-ended markers. One end is a regular marker tip and the other end is a shaped stamper. Also included are three stencils. Doodle Bear is machine washable and dryer safe. Doodle Bear comes in three colors: pink, purple, and blue.
Why It’s Fun
Kids will love decorating Doodle Bear. These stuffed toys give kids a new way to express themselves by customizing an adorable friend. Kids can color all over Doodle Bear, then wash it to have a blank canvas and start all over again. Doodle Bears are soft, too, which is great for kids who are into cuddling with their stuffed animals.

What to Be Aware of
Only use the included washable markers to color on Doodle Bear.
To wash Doodle Bear, place it in a pillowcase and machine wash cold, gentle cycle, no bleach. Tumble dry low. Don't tumble dry unless all marker stains are out. Drying may cause the stains to set.
