- Repeat Play OR Collectibility — Some toys are played with, some are collected. If we feel a toy is better suited for collectibility, we’ll rank it based on Collectibility instead of Repeat Play.
- Repeat Play — Will kids come back to it over time? Does the toy allow diverse imaginative play experiences? Does it provide longer-term play value?
- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

What It Is
Fisher-Price's Rescue Heroes: Hero World is a collectible action figure line for preschoolers. These action figures are part of an action-packed world where courageous everyday heroes (police officer, firefighter) save the day. Each action figure comes with accessories and moveable parts. Billy Blazes the firefighter comes with an ax that kids can move up and down and a water cannon with plastic "water" projectile. Other heroes include Perry Trooper (a paratrooper), Captain Cuffs (a police officer), and Rocky Canyon (a rescue mountain climber). There are also vehicle playsets sold separately.
Why It’s Fun
The Rescue Heroes: Hero World action figures are a great way for preschoolers to engage in pretend play as everyday heroes. Perhaps a child wants to be a police officer or firefighter when he grows up. With cool accessories and moving parts, these figures offer kids many opportunities for open-ended narrative play.
Who It’s For
Rescue Heroes: Hero World is for ages 3 and up. The play is geared more toward boys—the action figures are all men—but there may be girls who also aspire to be everyday heroes.

The vehicle playsets range in price from $17—$38.
This is a reintroduction of the popular Rescue Heroes line, with characters slightly smaller than the originals, but they're sized well for small hands and active play.
