What It Is
Lightning McQueen and friends are back this summer in Cars 2. Hitting theaters on June 24, 2011, the new movie follows Lightning McQueen and Mater as they head to the World Grand Prix and get caught up in international espionage.
Fisher-Price has introduced several toys based on the movie, including a Cars 2 take on its classic, best-selling Bubble Mower. Bubble Mater blows bubbles just like the Bubble Mower. Kids simply push Bubble Mater forward and bubbles appear from Mater's side. Filling Bubble Mater is easy. Remove the engine cover. Open the included bottle of bubble solution. Attach the engine cap to the top of the bubble bottle. Twist the bottle to secure it to the cap. Turn the bubble bottle over so that the cap is down and insert it into the engine. Replace the engine cover over the bubble bottle and press down for about 15 seconds to fill the bubble chamber inside Mater. (For best results, press down for a few minutes.) Then push Mater forward for bubble-blowing action. To refill Mater, simply press back down on the bubble bottle. Realistic mechanical sounds bring Mater to life.
Why It’s Fun
This is a fun new way for little kids to interact with Mater. Bubble Mater is easy to use and features no-mess refills. This is a great combination of a classic bubble toy with a favorite Cars character.

What to Be Aware of
It takes a few minutes for the bubble action to start working, so a little patience is recommended. Move Mater back and forth and eventually bubbles will appear from Mater's side.
