- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

What It Is
High-octane adventure continues with the release of Disney/Pixar's Cars 2 on June 24, 2011. Lightning McQueen and Mater head to the World Grand Prix where they get caught up in international espionage. Fisher-Price brings the World Grand Prix to life for the youngest racing fans in the Cars 2 Shake 'n Go World Grand Prix playset.
The Shake 'n Go World Grand Prix playset comes with two cars: Lightning McQueen and Francesco. To get the cars to race, simply shake them. (This winds up the internal motor.)The more you shake them, the farther they go. (The cars can run up to 20 feet with some good shaking.) Once wound up, place the cars on the start line and press the button to lift the starting gate and watch the cars take off down the two-lane raceway. Kids can turn the bridge camera to knock cars off the track for more competitive action.
Other Cars 2 Shake 'n Go cars—Finn McMissile, Holley Shiftwell, Nigel Gearsley, Mater, Professor Z, and Jeff Corvette—are sold separately.
Why It’s Fun
This is a great racing set for younger kids. It lets kids continue to experience the revved-up racing action from the new movie, whether through trying to reenact specific racing scenes or creating their own racing adventures. This is classic car play with favorite characters.
We've been big fans of the Shake 'n Go mechanism since it was first introduced because it lets kids power up the cars simply by shaking them, which is great for younger kids who may not have fully developed fine motor skills. Plus, it's silly fun for them to get them powered up by shaking.
Who It’s For
The Shake 'n Go World Grand Prix is for ages 3—7. It's great for kids who like Cars the movie or for kids who like to play with cars.
What to Be Aware of
Assembly is required, but no tools are needed. It takes about 15-20 minutes to put the racetrack together.
Each car requires two AA batteries, which are not included.
