What It Is
The new Miracle-Gro Kids line from Peachtree Playthings is designed to introduce kids to gardening. The Miracle-Gro Kids product line includes an assortment of all-inclusive flower and vegetable gardening sets. Each kit contains specially formulated Miracle-Gro Gro-Mix that helps seedlings sprout in as little as two weeks. In addition to being non-toxic, the Miracle-Gro Gro-Mix helps care for the plants with color-changing planting mix that indicates when it is time to water. The sets also come with educational material that helps kids understand the process of germination and growth.
One of the main kits is the 3in1 Gardening Set. This all-in-one gardening system and tabletop display keeps everything kids need within reach. It comes with Gro-Pod containers with Miracle-Gro Gro-Mix, flower pots, seed packets, plant marking stakes, a planting stick, a display tray, a Gro-Chart, plant care instructions, and a watering can. You can choose either the vegetable garden or the flower garden.
Other kits include ModPots, which are snap-able, switchable plant pots that retail for about $12.99; a Greenhouse, which also retails for $12.99; a Terrarium, which retails for about $12.99; Grow-A-Plants, which are all-inclusive six-inch plant pots that retail for about $7; and Mini Greenhouses that retail for about $1. Each is sold separately.
Why It’s Fun
We were really impressed with how easy it is to use these gardening products and how quickly the seeds sprouted. Each Miracle-Gro Kids gardening kit involves children in the process of growing seeds to sprouts by transforming it into a fun, interactive, and easy hobby. The Miracle-Gro Kids line is a great introduction to gardening and a fun way to help kids explore and understand the world around them.
