What It Is
Kids are eager to be big enough to ride skateboards, but it takes time to learn, and parents are concerned about injuries and the right time to get kids started. Now kids as young as 4 can start learning with the Grow with Me 3-in-1 Skateboard, which helps kids learn to skateboard in three stages that keep pace with their physical ability and encourages them to grow in confidence as they develop the necessary skills for skateboarding.
In stage one, the skateboard looks like a scooter with a handlebar attached. Kids can practice foot-to-ground propulsion to help them get used to balancing on the skateboard. Once kids are ready, just remove the handlebar. The skateboard looks like a real skateboard except for the placement of the wheels. The wheels are moved near the edges of the board, keeping the skateboard low to the ground and giving kids extra balance and stability as they get used to hands-free skateboarding. For the final stage, simply slide the wheels near the center of the skateboard for a traditional skateboard height and wheel placement.
The skateboard is available in a blue color for boys and a Barbie-themed version for girls.
Why It’s Fun
The Grow With Me 3-in-1 Skateboard is a great introduction to skateboarding for little kids. With the three different stages, kids can progress at their own pace and become accustomed to moving in this way, while feeling secure in an unfamiliar activity. Kids will like being able to skateboard around just like the big kids.

The Grow with Me 3-in-1 Skateboard is for ages 4—8. The maximum weight limit is 110 pounds.
What to Be Aware of
Kids should always wear protective gear (helmet, elbow pads, knee pads) when riding the skateboard. Adult supervision is recommended.
