What It Is
Transformers: Dark of the Moon doesn't hit theaters until July 1, 2011, but fans can already get involved with the new versions of these classic characters with the first wave of toys based on the film. Starting May 16, Hasbro is releasing a line of action figures, vehicles, and roleplay toys that are all, like the Transformers themselves, "more than meets the eye."
Cyberverse Legion Class Sideswipe transforms from a Corvette Stingray to an Autobot. This action figure sports c-clamp hands that can hold weapons and interact with Cyberverse playsets. There are more than 20 characters in the line to collect. Each is sold separately.
Why It’s Fun
Kid and adult collectors will like these small new Legion Class action figures. It's a lot of fun to transform Sideswipe and the other characters (Isn't that what Transformers is all about?) and create your own Autobot versus Decepticon battles.
