What It Is
High-octane adventure continues with the release of Disney/Pixar's Cars 2 on June 24, 2011. Lightning McQueen and Mater head to the World Grand Prix where they get caught up in international espionage. New characters include secret agents, menacing villains, and international racing competitors. Mattel is producing die-cast vehicles, track sets, playsets, and other accessories to bring the on-screen action to life.
The Cars 2 Tokyo Spinout is a high-speed stunt track set for Cars die-cast vehicles. Load up two Cars vehicles into the dual launchers. The vehicles race toward the elevated spinning platforms, which will spin the cars and launch them down another track. But only one car will claim victory, while the other car is ejected from the track. Combine this set with the Barrel Blowout, Cliffside Challenge, and Spy Jet Escape playsets (each sold separately) to create a mega stunt set. Tokyo Spinout comes with a Lightning McQueen car.
Why It’s Fun
This track set brings the action of the new movie, part of which takes place in Japan, to life. Kids will love racing their cars again and again on this track set to see which car is the fastest, just like in Cars 2.
Who It’s For
Tokyo Spinout is for ages 4 and up. Kids don't have to be Cars fans to enjoy the high-speed racing of this playset.
