- Repeat Play — Will kids come back to it over time? Does the toy allow diverse imaginative play experiences? Does it provide longer-term play value?
- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

What It Is
It's been 19 years since the original Power Rangers debuted in the U.S. This year a new generation of kids will be introduced to Power Rangers: Samurai, a new show airing on Nickelodeon. These new Power Rangers must master the mystical and ancient Samurai Symbols of Power, which give them control over the elements of fire, water, sky, forest, and earth. A whole new line of action figures, roleplay items, and more brings the action of the show to life.
Kids can bring the power of the Power Rangers together with the Samurai Megazord. This large action figure comes with five animal Zords (dragon, bear, ape, turtle, and lion) that come together to create the Samurai Megazord. The Zords are easy to snap together. As part of the ZordBuilder collection, the Megazord combines with the Cycles and Zord vehicles (sold separately) to create the Ultimate Megazord.
Why It’s Fun
Whether playing with the animal Zords individually or fighting off the bad guys with the Megazord, kids will be engaging in a lot of open-ended narrative play with this large action figure.

The Samurai Megazord is for ages 4 and up.
What to Be Aware of
Keep the building instructions handy as you put together and take apart the Megazord. Younger children may need help from parents. However, these are really designed with younger kids in mind so the transformations are satisfying to do but also easy enough for younger kids.
