What It Is
The Double-Decker Roundhouse with Elevating Turntable is an accessory piece for the Chuggington Wooden Railway. It comes with a bonus switch track, six engine bays, a removable tunnel cap, and a moveable turntable. The turntable turns so that it lines up with the engine bays. Raise and lower the turntable by pressing a button. Kids can play with the roundhouse in its double-decker form or they can unstack the engine bays.
Why It’s Fun
This is a great addition to other playsets in the Chuggington Wooden Railway. Kids will like that the turntable moves and is easy for them to use. Connecting wooden track pieces to the set is easy. Accessory pieces such as the Double-Decker Roundhouse let kids expand and build their very own Chuggington world.
Who It’s For
The Double-Decker Roundhouse is for ages 3 and up. Kids who like Chuggington will really like this new wooden way to play with the characters from the show. But even young kids with an interest in trains will like this set.
What to Be Aware of
This set does not come with any trains or wooden track pieces.
There's no doubt that this is an expensive toy, but it's a wonderful addition to the Chuggington line.
If you are familiar with Learning Curve's Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway system, then you'll know to expect the same high-quality wooden construction in the Chuggington Wooden Railway system. However, don't think that this is just Thomas & Friends sets with Chuggington characters. Learning Curve has done a great job making a wooden world that is unique to Chuggington, from destination playsets right out of the show to exclusive track pieces.
