What It Is
The Over & Under Starter Set with Clock Tower combines the fun of the Chuggington TV series with classic wooden train play. There are 22 pieces in this set that kids can assemble in multiple ways. Stack the clock tower tunnel on top of the bridge tunnel to create one large clock tower. Or place each tunnel elsewhere on the track for two separate tunnels. Magnets on the front and back of Koko and Wilson mean that the trains easily attach (and come apart) and ride around the track together. Also included in this set is Vee. This set is compatible with other wooden railway systems.
Why It’s Fun
This is a great starter set for young Chuggington fans. The wooden track pieces fit together easily and the chunky engines are easy for little hands to grasp. With the assortment of add-on sets in the collection and the ability to connect with other wooden railway systems (most notably Thomas & Friends, also from Learning Curve), kids have a lot of options for self-guided, creative train play.
Who It’s For
The Over & Under set is for ages 3 and up. Kids who like Chuggington will really like this new wooden way to play with the characters from the show. But even young kids with an interest in trains will like this set.
What to Be Aware of
If you are familiar with Learning Curve's Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway system, then you'll know to expect the same high-quality wooden construction in the Chuggington Wooden Railway system. However, don't think that this is just Thomas & Friends sets with Chuggington characters. Learning Curve has done a great job making a wooden world that is unique to Chuggington, from destination playsets right out of the show to exclusive track pieces.
