What It Is
Learning Curve's Chuggington Interactive Railway brings the engines from the animated series to life via SmartTalk technology. This means that the engines recognize and interact with each other. The engines also interact with various railway pieces, activating sounds, lights, and phrases from the TV show.
The starter set in this line is the All Around Chuggington Set. Featuring spiral elevation and 60 total pieces, the All Around Chuggington Set comes with more than 13 feet of track (the track pieces snap together) and three interactive train stops: a loading yard, a tower platform, and a roundhouse with an interactive Vee figure. It also includes an interactive Wilson engine, a hopper car, and six pieces of cargo. The interactive Vee and Wilson recognize and react with other Chuggington Interactive Railway engines and train stops (sold separately), so kids can add on to this set to build their own Chuggington world. The more pieces you add, the more interactive the world becomes.

What to Be Aware of
Putting the track pieces together might be difficult for younger kids. Parents may want to help get things set up.
This set requires 11 AA batteries, which are included. If the child stops playing for a period of time, then the set will turn off automatically and go into sleep mode to preserve the batteries.
You can turn the interactive engines and train stops on to hear the sounds and phrases, or turn them off for quiet-time play.
