- Repeat Play — Will kids come back to it over time? Does the toy allow diverse imaginative play experiences? Does it provide longer-term play value?
- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

What It Is
The characters from Cars and the upcoming Cars 2 get a new look with the Disney/Pixar Cars Wood Collection. Created and designed by Toys "R" Us in collaboration with Disney Consumer Products, this new line includes wooden cars, tracks, and playsets. The track pieces easily fit together and work with most other wooden track systems. The cars are sold in two-packs, and track sets and destination playsets (such as Mater's Garage) are sold separately.
There are many different cars and vehicles to collect, and the designers have creatively given them a variety of expressions that make them highly collectible and add to the fun of playing.
Why It’s Fun
These are well-crafted wooden pieces that merge classic wooden vehicle play with favorite Cars characters. It's simple and fun play for younger Cars fans.
Kids will love being able to configure the track in a variety of ways, and the large track set comes with lots of accessories that have simple mechanisms that help bring the world of Radiator Springs to life.

The Cars Wood Collection is for ages 3 and up. The Cars franchise has proven to be one of the most popular and appealing preschool vehicle lines ever. Young fans of the movies will especially like playing with this new collection of Cars toys.

The Disney/Pixar Cars Wood Collection is only available at Toys "R" Us stores.
Toys "R" Us plans to keep expanding this line, with elements based on the new Cars 2 movie planned for around the time of the movie release.
