What It Is
Girls can create fun fashions of Strawberry Shortcake with the Twirling Flower Fashions playset. Place the Strawberry Shortcake doll on the rotating base. Fill the plastic rose with water. Pull the lever to make the doll spin, and as she spins, squeeze the rose to spray her skirt with water. A pattern will appear on the wet skirt. Once the skirt dries, the pattern disappears so girls can do it again. The playset comes with one scented five-inch doll and two color-change skirts.
Why It’s Fun
Girls will like the "magic" involved in this playset. It's fun to see the patterns appear on the skirt with just a squirt of water. Girls can also play with the doll and the skirts off of the playset, and use them with other Strawberry Shortcake toys.

This playset is for girls ages 4 and up.
What to Be Aware of
The color-change skirts have a patterned side and a plain side. Make sure to put the skirt on the doll with the plain side facing out so that a pattern will appear when water comes in contact with it.
Parents may want to help kids fill the plastic rose with water and reattach it to the playset. We had difficulty attaching it.
This playset is a little messy. Though the playset is largely self-contained, we recommend supervised play in an area where it's okay to get wet and easy to clean up.
It takes a while to dry out the skirt, but there are two included in the set. We found that a hair dryer (used by a parent) can dry the skirt out more quickly for continuous play.
