Our editorial team has more than 100 years combined experience working in the toy industry. Our rating system ranks toys on 4 key criteria:
- Fun — Does it engage the child? Does it inspire imaginative play? Does it contribute to creative expression? Is it entertaining?
- Repeat Play OR Collectibility — Some toys are played with, some are collected. If we feel a toy is better suited for collectibility, we’ll rank it based on Collectibility instead of Repeat Play.
- Repeat Play — Will kids come back to it over time? Does the toy allow diverse imaginative play experiences? Does it provide longer-term play value?
- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

Take off on a coast-to-coast adventure or travel the world as you learn fun facts and play games with the two-sided Tag United States and Tag World maps. These interactive maps are the newest addition to the Tag reading system. Kids use their Tag Readers (sold separately) to touch points on the maps and activate the fun, learning and exploration.
The United States map helps kids with map skills, U.S. geography, landmarks and famous places, and animals. Kids will meet kid characters from around the country, learn what they eat, and how they play. There are more than 10 interactive games that bring the characters and map facts to life.
The World map also helps kids with map skills, as well as world geography and world languages. Kids will meet kid characters from around the world and learn how to say "hello" in different languages. More than 10 interactive games bring the characters and map facts to life.
With both maps, parents can follow their child's play and learning progress on the LeapFrog Learning Path. Kids can also play in LeapWorld, a safe, online learning world with more games and rewards to expand the fun.
Kids are naturally fascinated by the world. Many parents and grandparents will remember playing with puzzles and other map games. LeapFrog has taken this classic play pattern a quantum leap forward with the addition of electronics and deeper content. Most of all, these maps are a fun and engaging way to introduce kids to reading maps and understanding where places are, both in our own country and beyond.
