- Fun — Does it engage the child? Does it inspire imaginative play? Does it contribute to creative expression? Is it entertaining?
- Repeat Play OR Collectibility — Some toys are played with, some are collected. If we feel a toy is better suited for collectibility, we’ll rank it based on Collectibility instead of Repeat Play.
- Repeat Play — Will kids come back to it over time? Does the toy allow diverse imaginative play experiences? Does it provide longer-term play value?
- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

The Savings Goal ATM is a great way to help kids understand the concept of saving, using something they see their parents use often—the ATM. The deluxe ATM stands up or hangs on a wall with the built-in wall mount. Insert the included make-believe ATM card to activate the digital screen. Do you want to make a deposit or a withdrawal? Kids can store real money in the ATM! The coin slot recognizes the value of each coin and the automatic bill feeder accepts real currency (though it prompts you to enter the value of the bill inserted). The secure vault will keep the money safe—only kids can access their savings with their digital access code. The Savings Goal ATM is available in two color combinations: steel/blue and pink/lavender.
One of the fun elements of this item is that it allows kids to set a savings goal and tells them how much they will need to save by a certain date to reach it.
While younger kids will see this item as a play toy, older kids may enjoy having this high-tech "piggy bank" in their rooms.
Some features on this are a little awkward and take some learning, but overall it's a fun and engaging way for kids to understand money and saving.
