- Repeat Play OR Collectibility — Some toys are played with, some are collected. If we feel a toy is better suited for collectibility, we’ll rank it based on Collectibility instead of Repeat Play.
- Repeat Play — Will kids come back to it over time? Does the toy allow diverse imaginative play experiences? Does it provide longer-term play value?
- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

These laptops give girls the opportunity to play with Barbie in a new way, and, while girls are having fun, parents will appreciate the educational aspect of the laptops. These newly updated and expanded versions of a very popular line combine Barbie lifestyle play with learning activities. Designed for even the youngest preschoolers who like to imitate what they see in the adult world, the different laptops have age-appropriate activities while being simple enough and well-designed for small hands. These are definitely toys, but they provide an appropriately realistic play experience for kids.
Girls ages 3 and up can enjoy eight interactive educational activities and games featured in the Barbie Little Learning Laptop. The LCD screen provides guidance and feedback. The learning activities and games are entertaining and fun, plus they help develop skills children need for preschool, such as the alphabet, vocabulary, colors, spelling, counting, shapes, and more. The laptop features an alphanumeric keyboard with shape and color keys and a carry handle for easy portability.
The B-Bright Learning Laptop is also for girls ages 3 and up. Designed for preschool and kindergarten levels, the B-Bright laptop has an A-Z keyboard, piano keys with LED lights, easy access game buttons, 12 game categories, and a carry handle for portability. Games include music, numbers, memory, spelling, and more.
As girls get older, they'll be ready for the B-Smart Learning Laptop. For ages 5 and up, this laptop has 70 English and 10 Spanish activities. The English activities cover a wide scope of learning categories, while the Spanish activities aim to introduce the basic, useful vocabulary as a second language to girls and introduce them to simple reading and spelling in Spanish. This laptop looks the most realistic of the bunch and features stereo sound, a multi-color LCD backlight, a large LCD display, and MP3 connectivity so girls can listen to their favorite songs (or mom and dad's favorite songs) on the B-Smart laptop.
