- Repeat Play — Will kids come back to it over time? Does the toy allow diverse imaginative play experiences? Does it provide longer-term play value?
- Collectibility — Some toys may have limited traditional play, but kids will treasure them as collectibles.
- Assembly/Instructions — Is the toy easy to assemble? Are the instructions clear?

Best of all, after mastering the moves, kids will really turn heads when riding this scooter with a twist. The Whiplash is part scooter, part caster board, and totally fun. Kids can ride the Whiplash like a scooter and carve and drift like Street Surfing's The Wave, a caster board that is part snowboard and part skateboard (sold separately). Centered on the design of The Wave and Torsion technology, Whiplash's flexing deck and handlebar fuse together to provide riders with a cool, side-to-side whip-like ride. The patent-pending Whiplash construction lets riders propel it by shifting their hips and provides enough momentum to keep rolling—so much so that riders' feet never need to touch the ground! Whiplash's extra wide skate-inspired deck, available in black with red grip tape, is made of a webbed design, carbon-reinforced composite material that is supported by an extra long lightweight handlebar. Just fold the handle up to store the Whiplash or take it on the go. Whiplash has a traditional 97 mm front wheel, while the rear caster wheel zips along on ABEC 7 bearings. It is recommended that children wear safety items while riding the Whiplash—kneepads, elbow pads, and helmet.
