This is a board game similar to others but with a unique twist - a roll of the dice determines how you will proceed. We tested it out during a slumber party with my older niece and her friends, and it was a riot. Read more

HandRunner

Let me start this review by saying this is probably the coolest, yet most unnecessary toy I’ve ever seen. Carter, my seven year-old, is obsessed with zombies. He can play plants vs. zombies on the computer for hours. He even wanted to ask Santa for a chain saw so he could help in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, he’s got issues. Anyway, when we got the HandRunner, He was in hog heaven! His very own severed zombie hand. What more could a kid ask for?! Read more

We got quite the surprise a couple weeks ago with an early snow storm in Colorado. Our old sled was broken so the boys were a little upset. I had just gotten two Spooners in for review so I thought we’d test them out in the snow. Read more

MindFlex Duel

My boys saw the original MindFlex game last Christmas and started begging for it. It was pricey and I didn’t think they would be interested in using it more than a couple times, so I held off. Recently I was sent the MindFlex Duel to review, so the boys were very excited. Read more

The ages for this game say 8+, so my 8-year-old and I played it. She liked it. The object of the game is to build up your “city” on a grid. Each player has the same set of Tetris-like pieces, and a deck of cards randomly directs you to add one of the pieces to your grid on each turn. Read more
