What It Is
Skunk Bingo puts a cute spin on traditional Bingo using a plastic log, animal cards, and a spinner. Like traditional Bingo, each player gets a board. The first player to fill his board wins. To play, you need two to four players. Take turns spinning the spinner. If you land on a number, place that many animal cards into one side of the log. If you land on a skunk, you place a skunk card into the log. If any cards pop out on the other side of the log during your turn and you have a matching animal on your board, add those animal cards to your board. But if a skunk pops out, you say "P U!" The skunk and any other cards that pop out with it are discarded, and your turn is over. Keep playing until a player fills his board, gets Skunk Bingo, and wins the game.
Why It’s Fun
Despite the name, this game does not stink! Kids will love the surprise and anticipation of the animals popping out of the log. In addition to matching and reinforcing turn-taking, this game offers kids an opportunity to learn to think and plan ahead. Before placing an animal into the log, they should look at their board and choose the animals they need to fill it.
