What It Is
If monsters attend Monster High, where do fairytale characters go to school? Ever After High, of course. Ever After High is a new doll line in the same vein as Monster High. Each doll is the child of a classic fairytale character, and these teenage characters must choose to either follow their parents' fabled footsteps or discover their own happily ever after.
Madeline Hatter is the daughter of the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. This always-happy character puzzles out puzzles, talks in riddles, and loves her destiny as the mad host of tea parties. Her goal is to explore the world and own the most famous Hat & Tea Shoppe in the land.
The doll wears a purple, blue, and gold dress with blue polka dot tights, blue gloves with white polka dots, spoon earrings, and tea cup-inspired shoes. She wears a teacup headband in her curly blue and purple hair. The doll also comes with a hairbrush in the shape of a key, a teapot with removable lid, and a fold-out storybook that can also be used as a bookmark. And the doll's packaging is designed to look like a book.
Why It’s Fun
This new doll is really pretty with lots of clever tea party-inspired details and wacky touches to match Madeline's "mad" lineage. Fans of classic fairytales will love collecting the Ever After High dolls, and kids will have fun creating new adventures and storylines that will help these dolls find their happily ever after.
Who It’s For
Ever After High Madeline Hatter is for ages 6 and up. Her backstory is a little complex and sophisticated for the younger kids. For slightly older kids, say tweens, these dolls may be gorgeous first collectibles.
What To Be Aware Of
